I was a little apprehensive before I bought mine, so I had the dealer call me if one came in. I sat in it about 10 minutes, and found it growing on me. A couple weeks later, I had the chance (rare in Ohio in February) to take one out on an unnaturally sunny and warm day. Top down, Sebring/Red was awesome! I was hooked, and promptly called my dealer to request a Sebring/Red for me.
I haven't regretted it a bit in the 2 1/2 years. Since my car isn't a daily driver, the interior is just a bit more 'special', befitting a car that I only take out for fun. I rarely see another one, so it's moderately rare, even at S2000 meets. Simply put, the Silver/Red is a very classic (and IMHO, very classy) color combo.
The only combo that I might have liked better - had I seen one before ordering - would be GPW/Red. There's no more classic color combo for a sportscar.
I'm not a fan of the red dash. But I'm in love with my red/black combo, and I drove a MY01 with the red/black interior and I thought it was pimp as well.
I guess it can become a little much at times for those who like wearing socks with sandals, eating Wonder bread with no crust, and sex with the lights off. . .
i see people with sport socks and sandals in my country every summer

let me ask to everyone....
Red in the shadow is the color of blood and red in the sun is like ferrari ?am i right or not?
I dont know why but i would love to have a MY04 black with all red interior of course with the clear headlights and tail lights...the yellow to white....
Many classic roadsters from Porsche, Ferarri, and the British have all red (usually referred to as Oxblood) interiors. Silver on Oxblood is a classic color combination in these cars. While it isn't seen in too many cars today, that doesn't detract from it's use in the s2k and Boxter. They're going after that classic look, and it works well for me. The red really doesn't photograph nicely though, and you have to see it in person to make an accurate judgement of it. I was apprehensive about getting the full red interior, but after driving it, I loved it. My wife really likes it too, and she's a style Nazi.

yep the photos are not the real look to the eye...and here in my country is hard to find a all red interior i think we dont have any but when i went to the lisbon autosalon i talked with the importer dealer and he told me that he can do something about all red interior...i will call to the dealer next to me and tell him to phone to all the dealers to know if they discovered one with red/black and i will go see it...if i like i prefer the black and red but if i love the red i want all red interior...but is something like buying a house without looking at it...
When I bought my '02, the interiors on the Sebring were all black or all red. The red was very difficult to find. I found over 20 Sebring/Black available before I found one Sebring/Red. The dealer knew it was rare, and made me pay an extra $3,000 to get it.
