Actually, I just traded my red/black for black interior. I didn't care for the red, never had. I almost didn't buy the car because of the interior, but now I made another fellow S2Ker happy and I got the subdued color I wanted. All in the eye of the beholder and may everyone with all colors be thrilled.
PS I want to do the inserts in the door and seats with silver later to match the exterior.
Red didn't meld with that.

my first choice was red with black interior, when i found my car it just called to me...i figured the interior was a little loud but it has now grown on me (quickly) and i like it...just enough black to satisfy my desire for that along with enough red to break up the design.
in the sun the red goes not get as hot as an all black interior. the red carpet shows spots quicker than black, the black shows dust quicker than red...all in all i would buy it again.
A couple of external things that swayed my choice.... in the original Italian Job, Michael Cain drove a silver with red interior and black toped austin martin convertible... it just looked like such a stylish combo, also you see the silver in alot of publicity shots for the S2000. I think the colors Silver, Black, and Red just go together and my car has all three all over the place.
