Default Thoughts on this setup for my S?

I am going to be getting some parts to improve my looks performance soon, but a second thought has come to my mind. I do alot of commuting and definatly drive my car every day.

2002 Berlina Black with
Cleared sidemarkers/diffusers
C/F Mugen hood
C/F Trunk
OEM Lip
Single Exh/cap
17" Bronze Volks/Mugen wheels

The car, when I am not driving, will be parked in the public. The main places would be in a school parking lot (lots of people walking by, immature ) a gym parking lot (no real worries inless they somehow think my car is worth more than the Carrera turbo I parked next to) and in regular parking lots of shopping centers/malls (albeit very far away from all other cars)

I am afraid with all the CF, JDM rims and such, will the car get the negative attention? Keyed, stolen, kicked?

I'm looking for other people who have had problems while not in the car. Any experiences with this?

Thank you

oh and keep in mind, Bay Area. No Hollywood here even though its not too bad.

Dublin area. Easy bay.

Also, I am more afriad of someone keying my Mugen hood more than the car getting stolen. Insurance vs. no Insurance.

No such thing as a part of the Bay with no thieves.

There are thieves around here. Most come in from Oakland and ride them out there to part them. Few friends had their cars stolen from this area and all were found in Oakland.

So you do have the theives to worry about. And is the CF for show or go? I wouldn't expect a weight savings vs. the aluminum hood.

All for show. Like I said, I am almost done with performance (just need tuning and some new tires, maby some coilovers and a x-brace, gears w/ comp diff, wait, thats not even close to done ) so I am just going for show now.

A good proximity alarm + tilt sensor should be invested in. You don't want to find your car sitting on bricks.

<----Daily Driver with:
INGS+1 - full kit
C-West CF hood
JDM sidemarkers
04 headlights
Viper 791 Responder alarm w/radar dome add on
etc etc

I have this setup in the Tampa, FL for a couple of weeks now with no problems. Alarm with responder technology is a must though
