Default Throttle Body Inquiry

Hey everyone - I am looking for an upgraded SINGLE throttle body, and am a bit confused.
It seems that the Spoon Spec TB is the same inner diameter, but with a 70mm outer? What's the point of that? Why does the outer mm make any difference? And what is the stock inner diameter?
And does anybody have the ProFlow TB? What mm is that (inner and outer)?
Thanks a lot!

http://proflowdesign.com/
The inner diameter is bored to 70mm and the outside is stock obviously - I never needed to know the outside diameter so, I never asked!

$155!

Wow 70mm is very wide. Do you know the stock inner diameter? I am guessing around 60-62mm?

155 is damn cheap, where to buy? Someone with this TB, speak up!

EDIT:

K, I saw the website and where to buy I'm curious as to whether or not this TB makes power. Time to use the search!

There is a core exchange of 150 dollars it looks like. That's not bad at all.

It's an exchange and they just machine a stock throttle body to be larger. I'll actually be doing that with a Neon throttle body later this week, taking it from between 49 and 52mm (there is a lip in it) to a straight through 57mm.

Why only 57mm? Isn't stock wider than that?
How can they take a stock TB and bore it to 70mm? I don't even think our outer diameter is that wide.. If it is, the result will be DAMN thin!!

Anybody know specs on the stock or Spoon TB? And what the point of changing the outer diameter is? Thanks!

I have the Pro Flow TB. The result is 66mm/70mm.

I have the AEM V2, Berk Technology test pipe and the Pro Flow TB and I am VERY happy with the gains on my AP2.
