Does your s2k make that noise whenever your car drives over uneven pavement or pothholes?? This "thumping" noise seems like it is coming from the rear....

 

Make sure your spare tire nut is tight.......

 

bump. mines also doing this. probally shocks or weak springs

hes right^ as much as I hate to see an 8yr old post resurected...

I would say make sure everything is held down well in the trunk
especially the stuff like your tools and wheel lock in the spare changing tools area

 

I have had an ocassional thump from the Saner front sway bar and now I get even more thumps out of the Gendron bar.

 

check to make sure you spare tires is not loose
