Tint back window?
I heard it wouldn't so I did it myself with static tint from Home Depot, its made for house use but i've had mine on for a while now and it works fine, the hardest part is cutting it to fit. I did it for like $15.

hmm thats awesome..I'll have to get around to that..couple of things tho...how dark can you get that tint...and why the hell is he applying the tint from the outside....isn't tint always done from the inside???
thirdly that windbreaker he has in the back..(between the seats) is sick..i had no idea you could get larger ones..the stock one is pretty ghetto looking!!!

The wind blocker is from Rick's (ricks2k.com). They are available in full height and 7/8 height.
I believe the tint is on the outside for a couple of reasons. The tint would be really difficult to apply on the inside (like washing the inside of your back window but way harder) and it also protects the outside of the plastic window.
The tint is available in a variety of transmissivity levels and colors. Buy at the hardware store (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.). Apparently Canadian Tire in Canada as well. Read the other linked thread. It's all there.

I also have tinted my plastic window.. its been good so far. Have had it done for about 2 months or so. Mine is also tinted from the outside. That thread really helped. I agree, that the hardest thing had to of been the bottom of the window.. cutting the tint straight across the bottom.
Other than that, DO IT!

I just clean mine every few days and have protection on the bottom of my roof well and window looks great. Im sure the tint works good though.
Heres an idea though for lazy people. Someone should make a couple extra tints or copies and sell it for $20.00 or so. I'm sure there would be quite a few people out there buying it since they don't want the hassle of cutting it. So whos going to be the entreprenueur?
I'm surprised no one has done this yet, pre cut copies woul be cool.
