Tint on PLASTIC rear window

Default Tint on PLASTIC rear window

I want to put a light tint on my rear plastic window. What is the best product to use?

Default

You want Static Cling window tint. It's much thicker than standard window tint and it's sort of soft and pliable. Here is the thread I did on how to do it, along with pictures of the product I used:

I have 20% but I think I saw 35% which is noticeably lighter.

Hmmm, I think the higher the %, the darker it gets.

No he's correct. The lower is the darker... Basically 5% tint is limo tint and 35% is average to kind of light tint... Most cars come with about 85% stock

yea most states the "legal limit" is 35%...that being said... i have 20%,
my mom has 20%, my girl has 20% and never been pulled over for it.

I stand corrected. Just checked some of the tint dealers here. It's % light transmitted through the window.
