I had some extra tint left over from the group buy static rear window, and put some pieces on my headlights. I like just the turn signals covered, but I'll probably leave the whole light covered for a while and see if it grows on me.

What'd y'all think?

I think it looks awesome!! What tint did you use? Was it hard to put on? Is it durable? Let me know!! Thanks.

It was super easy to put on, and its been through a weeks worth of rain and hasn't come off, it sticks really good. I need to do a bit of trimming since theres some overlap at the bottom. Its also thicker than regular tint, so I assume it will hold up fairly well. I doubled up the turn signal piece in this picture since some of the yellow was showing through with just a single layer there.

I have driven at night and can't even tell there's any difference and the turn signals can be seen fine in the daylight when they are on.

It looks cool, but that's got to affect the range of your hid's. Nice job though.

It looks cool.

Once I posted to have tail lights tinted and someone had flamed it saying why would I make the car unsafe..

I think as long as other drivers can see you light during day & night, I think it's cool. Oh, and driver, in your case.

When you get chance, could you try it with taillight and post pics?

cheers,

Thanks for the follow-up...gawd, I love this place!!

Do you know the specific brand/name/tint amount and where you got it? I am in Houston, so if it is a chain, I might get some soon, like tomorrow!!! You think i am kidding?!? I have been trying to figure out a way to clean up my headlights after they were "sanded" on some dirty/rocky roads...Thanks again!

I tried this but I couldn't get it to go around the side marker, so I just covered the part facing the rear.

The tint is made by GILA and the color is bronze. I got it at Lowes, a building supply store like Home Depot
