Default Tints Tints n some more Tints : /

Hey guys, i haven't been able to post in a while due to school and work but I am jammed right now iwht an issue and help would be appreciated.

I got a Tint ticket and was wondering if anyone knows the best way to remove tints on the side windows and hte windshield. Any info as soon as possible would be awesome!

PS: dono if this is true but someone told me sometimes they take out the windshield to put the tint on that, I dont believe so but can someone verify that this is how it is done b/c I want to know if i can take the windshild one off myself or need a professional to do it at a shop. THanks guys

you can also use windex, the ammonia in windex gets it off.

i used windex, razorblade, and blowdryer to heat up the glue. the glue was a PITA to take off.

yes it's called tint off. it's in a spray bottle at walmart.. in the auto section near all of the car wash stuff. i'm not sure if anyone else carries it.

i removed all of the tint off my prelude, everything but the windshield, in about 5 minutes. also used it to remove the tint from a friends civic. as long as the tint hasn't been on there for over 5 years or so you shouldn't have a prob.

^^ good thing about tint off is it doesn't leave any glue residue.

Did they send you to a state ref? if not, why not just get it signed off and pay the minimal fine?
