Tiny car = people don't see you
doesnt matter if they see me or not. i can see them and i can see them coming into my lane. then i can take evasive maneuvers.
i can't control their ignorance but i can keep myself out of trouble with them

I keep a flare gun in the car, I've used it a couple of times when soccer moms are in their Tahoes on their cell phones sending a check message while they check their kid's myspace and grades via email and decide to change lanes.
On a serious note, the cute feminine horn they equipped us with simply does not cut it. I feel like people just think I'm trying to be funny. We need to replace it with something that makes people shit bricks.

Having a bright color certainly helps. I have far fewer people pull out in front of me with the Rio S than I do with my black Subie.
Of course, that didn't help me at all on the drive in to work today. One woman pulled out in front of me in a SUV (then proceeded to drive 10mph under the limit), and I had another idiot completely disregard a stop sign, then change right into my lane about 5 feet in front of me (not even bothering to signal, of course).
