Tire Life ?
I’m running Hankook v12s , my front tires are about 80% life left in them while the rears are nearly bald . They’ve been on about 10kish Miles both front and rear . I know s2ks rear tires go a lot quicker but does this seem normal ? Also when I get new rears , you think it’s okay to put the fronts on the rear and use the new tires up front I’m on a square setup ? Or to prevent this can I keep swapping the fronts and rears over time so they wear evenly over time then just swap all 4 at once when they do signs of real wear in the future . Also the car was recently aligned about 10k miles ago as well .
I'm about 12k miles on my Firehawks, and I see similar results. My fronts are fine with about 70% left, and rare are down to near replacement. It's just the nature of the car and the fact you can't rotate tires due to size differences.
I’m not staggered I’m 245 all around so on my next sets I should rotate them to extend life ?
I would not recommend rotating near bald tires to the front though. Maybe if you were willing to rotate the tires when they are a quarter to halfway but definitely not when they are near bald.

If you are on a square setup, yes, you should absolutely rotate (and if you autox or track, after every event minimum) if you want to maximize life in general.
But if you have a lot left on two now, then buy just the two you need and put on the rears, then rotate regularly to maximize the total life.
Tire life will obviously be totally based upon your use case of course. Even on Bridgestone RE-71R's, which wear fast, I could get 10,000 - 15,000 miles out of a set if just daily driving it. I dont, so mine is much lower. The last set of them I had lasted about 2,000 miles, 3 autox events and 3 track night in america events :P With just autox, I would typically get about 3500 miles and about 6 events with a co-driver out of the same tires. That included a practice event where we probably put 30-40 runs on them. They were pretty trashed by then (always bought a new set before nationals).
