everyone is jumping all over you pretty hard... it happens. i did something equally dumb in mine. all you can do is get it fixed and try to be more careful for next time.

I guess it could contribute to a crash. A few times the rear end has slipped out just a tad within the first km or so after applying tire shine...if you are careless and get overspray on the tread its definately possible, but only within the first few kms id say.
