Default Tire tread life

Assuming a driver would drive somewhat conservatively, what kind of mileage could be expected on the stock factory tires?
Also, I know Honda warranty is 3yrs/36,000 miles but is there also another Honda warranty that is 5yrs/50,000 miles on the drivetrain?

Very conservatively...you might get 15-20k miles. Normal s2k spirited, probably about 12k miles.

I drive VERY hard, i have 17k on the clock and still going with adequate(sp?) tread left. Fronts are damn near brand new still and the rears i can see some wear but still plenty to be safe in rain and twisties!

Before FI and gears my back tires were lasting 5k miles, with the fronts lasting through two sets of rears. I have absolutely no idea of how long the tires might last if the driving were more conservative; Can't drive that way long enough to find out.

This has been posted a million farkin times. YMWV, LOL

The Honda warranty (nor any other car manufacturer that I'm aware of_) does NOT COVER THE TIRES. The tire warranty DOES NOT COVER WEAR.

Depending on your driving 8-20k on the rears (yea sure) and 10-20 on the fronts.

My tires have about 25.5k on them and I still have about 1/3 tread left. I drive pretty conservative for the most part.
