10,006 miles before changing rears... but I got S-02s again because I love the way they handle. I suppose there are better, but the handling of this car and all of it's design elements go together so well, I figured why @#$% with it.

You also need a category for fronts wearing out before the rears. My fronts were bald on the inside by 11K miles, but the backs would have lasted another 1 or 2K. Most of my wear occurs while cornering on mountain roads, not while accelerating on straight ones.

I've also managed to destroy one rear tire due to running over something in the road at 2500 miles and another at 320 miles! It's painful to have to spend another $200 to replace a brand new tire!
