I had a opportunity to drive the Stook this weekend and noticed that the inside of my front tires are wearing slightly more than the rest. Is this normal? I would think not but upon inspection of Zippy's car we noticed the same on his. Does Honda set the car up from the factory lik this for improved handling or something. Please excuse my ignorance on this subject but I dont think its normal for the tires to wear unevenly. Opinions?

The normal alignment will result in a slight bias towards wear on the inside.. a bit more in the rear than the front. This is done to aid handling and road feel.

I noticed that the steering feel was a bit vague on my car as compared to a friends. This was confirmed by a driving instructor that did laps in my car and an other. But I had very even front tire wear compared to the others that had more inside wear.

My experiences seem to match that of the posters here. I have been wearing the outsides of all 4 tyres (and burring up the tread edges) pretty evenly as a result of track time and regular hard cornering on the road. However, when I checked recently I also noted that the insides of the front tyres were pretty worn as well (probably more so than the outside edges but without the burring). As a result I had the two front tyres swapped over at the last service (tyres taken off wheels and moved to other wheel). This is probably going to give me a little more life on the fronts.

As for the backs, I haven't noticed appreciable wear on the inside - CD are you suggesting I should have these aggressively aligned or is it more the fronts that make the difference re better road feel?
