Tired of being Killed
Ideally, you should not race on the street period. Too many variables that mature adults should recognize as undue risk. But since most of us are somewhat immature and thats why we got the car in the first place, if you are tired of getting killed I would:
1) stop street racing from a stop, the S2000 is not meant to be strong from a dead stop
2) go to a performance driving school to learn how to use more of what the car offers
3) trade you S for a C5 or LS1 to drag race with

Lets look on the bright side.
The S2000 beats those cars in looks, style, and in handling (except a well equipped Vette).
This is like comparing "Arnold" to "Jet li". Sure Arnold is stronger but what about being quick and agile?
Clearly the S2000 was made for driving enjoyment not drag races, however it is plenty fast against any car if driven with skill around many curves and corners (preferably on the track).
Just my opinion.
