is AP1 really slower than AP2 in straightline performance?

and they both dyno about the same amounts of power right?

In a straight line from a launch, both cars have proven to be nearly identical. From a roll, it would depend on the start speed (as the cars have different gearing).

 

An AP-1,properly drive,is a 13.7-13.9 car.
Try this with an AP-2.

 

ap1 and ap2 from a stop are completely dead even as stated. from a roll depends on start speed.

I prefer the AP3 (2006 Model). It has 300 whp and about 590 ft/lbs of torque. Not bad for a 2.2L 4 cylinder.

yea but with all that toque and horsepower they cant catch you anyways so who needs it?? I plan on not getting that feature and dumping the extra cash into some neon underbody lights
