Bridgestone has a replacement tire out for the S-02. It is the S-03 and has improved performance and better treadwear ratin (220 vs 140) read the report in Autoweek , April 30. This tire will be available sometime in May.

The gossip on the board is that it is a replacement for the SO2 Pole Position, but will not have the same grip as the SO2 Honda OEM. We believe the SO2 Honda OEM tires will continue in the Bridgestone line.

Still, it might be a good choice for those of us who use less of the car's capabilities.

I read somewhere (either automotive news or Autoweek) that starting in May, S2000 production tires will be the S-03's. I will try to find the article. The Bridgestone web site has a good article on these under the new heading.
