tires
tires have been talked to death. do a search and you'll find a lot. i think most people like staying w/ s02's unless changing rims. make sure you get the s2000 OEM s02's from tire rack and not the standard ones they have listed.
I have done a search for tires, and there is no information that I can find on the S2000. I am interested in what other owners of S2000's think, I don't care about tire reviews other than for the S2000, is there any one out there with first hand experience in changing from the SO2's to a different tire like the Dunlop S8000, Bridgstone 730 etc. Thanks Jay
Edward,
I'm not sure if you understand what the above are saying.
You need to search (option in the top menu) THIS board for the word 'tires'. It will come up with untold numbers of references to S2000 owners and their tire dilemas.
Every question you could possibly think of, and several that you wouldn't in your right mind think of, have been answered in great detail.

The general consensus is that if you go to a less expensive tire (and normally a harder rubber compound) the handling will suffer. You have to decide what type of driving you will be doing and how much you want to spend. Do you drive in the rain, snow, mud? Do you autocross? All this has to be taken into consideration.
