i can see some marks on the side side as below:





only on the right front tire, i didn't run off the road, no huge huge under steer into anything, i was running 33 psi at all 4 corners.

is this bad?

I think it would be almost impossible to cause the S-02 to roll over on the side that much from cornering forces, especially with proper inflation. The sidewalls on these tires are so stiff...

edit: Forgot to add, be thankful that you didn't rub the rim!

I also think it's just curb rash.. If you would have rolled the tire thru a turn, you would be able to see the marks all around the tire. Since your tires were rotating at a very high rate, it would have to mark the whole tire..

tire tread looks ok. and from what i've been told you should run anywhere from 5 - 10 psi more.

Doesn't look like you were pushing too hard on your canyon run either. If you were, you'd find the sipes in the tread on the outside of the tyre would be raised and puckered and balled up.

I would respectfully suggest you take it to a track or autocross. Unless you're out for a Sunday stroll, leave the canyons to BMW deathwishers:
