Tires flat spotting?

My car will sit for 3-4 days sometimes, and has a noticeable vibration for the first 5 minutes of driving. Once the tires are warmed up, it goes away. It does appear to be more noticeable now that it is getting colder here. (Low 40 degrees F.)
I have not experienced this with my MY05.
My car hit 1500 miles yesterday and is as old as my being a part of this site. The car is driven once or twice a week, sometimes less, sometimes more.
I have not driven the car in any sub 50 degree weather.

I have 23K on my car and have never had this problem. It could be the road surface that you drive initially when you leave your house. Does the problem occur when you start out from a different location from your house after several days of sitting? I say this because there are some road surfaces near my house that make me wonder whether I have tire problems with all 3 of my vehicles.
I'm experiencing the same thing. Seems to take about a week of sitting before it happens. The vibration goes away quite quickly though. It could be that my street exacerbates the problem also. It's not just my S that does it - the Kumho 712's on my 'lude will "take a set" also if it sits around long enough.
Whatever you call it, mine did this when they were newer and I lived out west. It took several days -- I recall an out-of-town trip for a week one time -- but it was quite noticeable until they warmed up, then the vibration (and noise) would fade away.
I put it down to the make/model of the tires -- I've had others that do this, but not all do. (And it happened to me with slightly higher than recommended tire pressure -- about 33#, as I recall.) HPH
