Because ... Erm ... Because JDM means Japan Domestic Market only. Heh! That's just typical Japanese fashion ... Only the good stuff for themselves.

The thing is Japan gives things to Europe too but not the NA market. Blame United States of America.

As a famous R&R band used to sing, "you can always get what you want...". You just need to look hard.

Send me an email and I'll explain to you how to get these pieces.

Calc,

I've got a Carbon Fibre kit here not installed yet... I'll do a mock up install this after noon and take some pictures for you.

Well, I have to point out that JDM version of S2000's come with a cassette player! I mean, is this the 21st century or what? Also, ours are not equiped with cruise control while it is standard on yours. And did you know that the boot cover you got free is an option here and is sold for $500? (Does anyone care to sell me one?) The optional floor mats cost $300?

It is a strange world indeed.

Morangie,

If you really do want the boot cover please send me a PM. I am willing to trade for parts from your area.

Thanks

SS2000,

Thank you very much for your offer, but I am more interested in the German alternative you can see at http://www.honda-s2000.de/04shop/katalog/a...persenning.html . It is light and packable, easier than the Honda boot cover to put on and take off, and, according to them, does not flap (or gets blown off) even at highway speed. They also said that it is made of high quality material that BMW uses. Humm... That sounds very interesting.

Wow!! First time I've seen that! I saw another pix of prototype many months ago that looked awful. This looks good. Tempting. Anyone get the German one yet?
