wow, if Ti is heavier then why are all titanium products SO much lighter?? i'm confused

and i know the benefit isn't from weight reduction, but i always thought the superlight knob felt better when shifting than a heavy one.

Ti is stronger, so if used in an application where strenth matters. It can be thinner. That is why a 2" ball of Ti weighs 2-3x what AL weights.

I have 3 shift knobs, stock, Voodoo Al, and a Voodoo Ti. A buddy is now using the Al unit untill I switch back (will not loan the Ti knob). This changes things just enough to make it different every once in awhile. I really like the Ti shift knob.

titanium voodoo knob would be awesome. I just picked up an aluminum one for dirt cheap from a former s2000 owner and while I love the feel of the knob and shifting action so much more than with stock I wish it still had the heft the OEM titanium knob offered.
