titanium shift knob for 2003

I have a 2003 S2000 and was thinking about purchasing a titanium shift knob. I have read that there are some problems with cracking the knobs...is this a major problem?

I've read on here about people who have the Spoon Shift knobs and the crack around the bottom, but thats the only one I have read that has problems.
