Today is the day, but heres a quick question...
Well, the day is finally here for my first post in the forum. Coincidentally, I should be taking delivery of a '02 S2k Sebring & Black in about two hours.
Finally, I can stop lurking on the board & finally participate 8)
I do have one quick question though.
Although I requested the dealer not apply the dealer sticker to the car, on inspection yesterday I found they already had.
Should I ask them to remove it or can I do it fairly easily at home? I think I've seen a thread on this in the past, but can't seem to locate it.
Thanks for any help
Alan
Ps: Yes, I know I should demand they remove it, but this has been a particularly rough buying experience and would probably prefer to see the car handled with my kid-gloves instead of leaving it up to 'the Man'.

I'd have the dealer remove it, otherwise you'll have to get fishing line or a razor blade to remove it, and better the dealer mess up your car then you doing it (because you can demand a repaint).
Have the dealer do it...And if they mess it up...its their fault, plus they should of not stuck it on your car in the first place.
I wouldn't take delivery of my car..because they had stuck a dealer name on the back of it...

.Normal stickers can be removed very easily if you use a regular blowdryer
and pull the sticker off while you heat it.
If the dealer sticker is some particularly nasty species you might have to resort to the fishing line-method.
Avoid the razor blade at all costs...
Yes I agree have the dealer do it. I would call over and tell them that you requested it not be put on and yesterday there was one on the car. That way you don't have to wait forever at the dealership for them to do it.

I wouldn't accept the car until they took it off. If they refuse or give you a hard time, I'd demand another car or my money back and move to the next dealership. No matter what the salesmen tell you, these cars aren't as hard to find as they used to be.
Same here! I told them 3 and 4 times DON'T put the friggen sticker on my car.
WHAT DO THEY DO? GUESS!!!
To top it all off..............they put it on crooked. That was only the start of the many problems I had with them! Needless to say I WILL NEVER RETURN!
