today's trend in modding
front lip/diffuser- (maybe) = CHECK
dark color wheels/stagger (No Chromes at all, not even the lip) = CHECK
carbon fiber parts (Not Heavly) = CHECK
My impression is bascially oem style with slight modding is pretty much the trend today I'm guessing. Let me know what your thought is...Even in movies like Transformer (bumble bee camaro) looks very oem with dark rims and some carbon fiber parts.
Apologize in advance if I don't make any sense at all =)

Understated and clean is better any day of the week than bling hacked together.
If it does not improve performance....then why bother.
Saw a older Honda Accord with plastic chrome hubcaps, tacked on wing, big ol fart can, and way too much pinstripe tape(red on blue)...oh almost forgot the color almost matching blue windshield wipers. Maybe he liked it...but it hurt to look at it was so ugly. No idea what posses someone to do that to a car.
The S2000 is not a cheap car to mod. The old adage of you get what you pay for is very true when it comes to modding the S. I'm not just talking dollar value...but also time spent. Time spent looking for the best performance vs price value....time spent installing to do it right...etc.
Tossing on a $800 set of coilovers and making it stiffer and lower does not necessarily improve performance.....matter in fact....will usually hurt it. A low buck exhaust may not last as long as a bit more expensive one...and usually sounds rice not nice.
To each their own....just before you go modding it up....take the time to think about what your doing and do the homework. Doing it right the first time is the only way to do it.

body kit/widebody kits on 4 door civic, sentra, integra and/or mustang with stock recessed wheels and stock/close to stock height. See that crap all day long. One day I'm gonna strike up a conversation and ask them what their direction is with their car.
