^Thats pretty exaggerated there. Sure you CAN get an intake for $2000+ range but most get the ones for 200-300.
Can still get springs for a couple hundred or add koni shocks for another 500 or so.

By me it is all the vdubs and audi's with roof racks and snowboards on them lol. Don't get it. Especially when it is summer time lol.

Personally, I think roof racks have their place on cars and I'm all for racks that see use.

on vista cruisers and subaru outbacks roof racks look fine. On a 94-01 integra they look stupid

I don't see anything wrong with that, at least they have nice bikes to haul around and use. Now if you have a rack and have nothing to haul than it's tacky

The most well known current trend I see a lot is stock looking cars with crazy temperature HIDs
