What do you know about a clean car? You've been here 97 days? DIAF TIA.
The s2000 is not my first car, and its been around for 9 years now... Not to mention I've been on this planet for 24.
I may know a thing or two about cars.
My auomotive enthusiasm did not start the moment I signed up for this forum, which apparently is most holy of all car forums...
While show cars may not be my thing (hence my less then stellar opinion) I do know a thing or two about cars...

This wasn't aimed specifically at this car. It's more about show cars and that look. I was trying to gauge the popular opinion. Obviously I'm in the minority.
I think some of the sensitivity here revosves around the fact that Tommy is well known in the SoCal S2K community and well liked. I don't think the OP meant to attack him personally in any way. He was just an example.
definetly a matter of opinion.
although I shouldn't throw fuel to the fire I have to say - all the people I have met that have a problem with modding are also folks that couldn't afford to mod.
bitter souls.

More pictures of that center console?
I guess the real interior wasn't flashy enough and the crew decided to substitute with another car that had a blue roll cage.
I would really like to know what the interior of the car looked like, but I guess getting a flashy, if fictional, story is more important than facts.
Still, the car looks fantastic.
No, as a moderator, you shouldn't fuel the fire but you are certainly entitled to your opinion just like everyone else. You work for free so you get a say just like everybody.
I'm not so sure if it's bitterness by people who can't afford it (although there probably is some of that) or an unwillingness of people to spend the money on performance or percieved performance increases that could far more effectively be gained by just buying a different car.
A stock S2K is an awfully compelling economic argument for appearance/performance/value although there are other cars that can more cost effectively be modified.
