Tomorrows High, 74 degrees...
Ok...this is starting to make me feel sick. I'm not sure if this photo progress stuff is a good idea. The dealer uses a company called seeprogress.com to show daily pictures of how your car is progressing, but seeing my car like this just makes me feel sick... I just have to hope that its in good hands. Here is the latest:
You can see where they sanded it down where the hail dents were in the door. Its like that all over the hood.

Boy, I'll tell you, some people will do most anything to save a couple of pounds.
Byron, it looks like they are doing a very thorough job. It looks like they have removed all of the plastic body pieces. Did they give you an estimated time of repair?
Don't forget to ask them how long you have to wait before you can wax the new paint. I'm assuming that it still has to cure for a while before it should be waxed.
Good luck with the car and the job hunt.

Yes, their estimate was $2100...and fortunately I have 0 deductable, so Allstate is covering it all.
I've already completed the job hunt (for now) and have a new position at GE. Now I've pulled my old rusted Celica out of mothballs for commuting. Before I had a home office and 0 minute commute. Now its a 50 minute commute...it will take some adjusting.
Yea, they said something about not waxing for a while... and I suppose I'll just leave it parked until I can. I hope they remove all the swirl marks
