Tonneau cover strap buzz?
I know a lot of you don't use the tonneau cover, but if you do, you probably experience the same nuisance buzz when you encounter a crosswind in the cabin that I did. All it is, is the flat hold down staps vibrating in the turbulent windstream.
The fix:
Get two pieces (1 for each side) of 1/4" ID tygon tubing about 3" long and slit it length wise. Then fold the strap in half and insert it into the slit in the tubing. After that add a couple of small plastic tie strips to close the slits in the tubing. That will fix the problem. I also cut up some dark grey vinyl and covered the strap tubes so it becomes invisible. It works...I must have too much time on my hands.

i used to use black corks (synthetic corks from wine) under the straps, but have been doing the twisting thing for the past year or so...
works better than the corks, cause i seemed to drop a cork every once in awhile and it was hard to find!
