Please read my latest thread I just posted. I can store the cover folded behind either seat - or carefully behind the roll bars if the top is up (careful of the deflector shield) or folded in the trunk as the others have mentioned. Good Luck!

I don't know about this. I have tried folding it as per the instructions on the cover and I don't think I would ever be able to fold it tight enough to fit in the sunken area in the trunk. Believe me, I have tried. It looks like the perfect place for the folded cover but it won't fit. At least not in my car. Anyone has a pic ?

This topic comes up quite often in this forum. I'm working with a local manufacturer of covers to design a tonneau cover of a stretchable fabric that will roll up to the size of a bath towel. The "sock" will stretch over the folded top to keep out nearly all the dust that accumulates in the folds. I can have several made. Anyone interested in group purchase? The cover can also have customized embroidery (S2000 logo) if desired. I think we can probably get them made for $100 or so. Using this method frees up the trunk space and protects the folded top while driving.

OK. I'll get some pictures for all to view and we can decide to get several made. I've got a meeting set up for the prototype to be fitted after the Memorial Day weekend.

Just for the record, the thing we are talking about is the TOP BOOT! It is NOT, I repeat, NOT a TONNEAU. A Tonneau cover covers the ENTIRE cockpit (like the old British roadsters had) or the entire bed of a pickup truck. A top boot just covers the top itself.

I understand. I will not look like the Jag's cover. We're trying to get a snug, smooth fit (a double lined stretchable fabric) over the mechanism. The intent is to use this flexible cover as an alternative when the S2000 is taken on a weekend or vacation that requires the storage space in the trunk that the hard tonneau uses. Does that sound like desirable option?

Would pics be available after your initial fitment? At $100 you've got my attention.

Albert,

I live near OCC. That's only 2-3 miles from you.
