Now I REALLY have to change my user name as I am no longer waiting for my stook. I am now an OWNER! It arrived at the dealer last Thursday (as promised!) so I took the day off on Friday (delivery day) to spend time with my new toy. You guys were right, this car is addicting! Thanks to the S2K boards, I knew what to check on before delivery (spacers, radio code, etc.) and used the list letter to inform my dealer how I wanted my car treated prior to actually delivery. I also requested a simple hand-wash from their shop, as I would "properly" clean/wax it at home (note: already done ) Today I really drove it for the first time, all under (well almost) the 6K self-exiled imposed break in period. I'm . I took a nice relaxing drive out to some of Michigan's twistiest roads and really enjoyed the car. If it's this much fun a low RPM's, I can't wait to experience what lies beyond 6K Only once did I exceed 6K (just for a couple seconds, I swear ) and that was on a freeway entrance ramp. A dodering old Taurus wagon ahead of me never knew what went by him, but it was black and quick Well, I'm off to clean off the bugs from this mornings flogging. I can't believe it's really in my garage! I'm in LOVE!

Thanks for the note Greg! When at Gingerman? Can I drive my car "as is", meaning I've read some posts that say stooks require 4-point minimum roll bars, at least for SCCA competition. I love track days, as I used to race my CBR600F2 at Grattan and I can only imagine what it must be like for an S2K on a track, it's just that I don't want to start cutting into the car right away to install a proper roll-bar!

Welcome to the club! May I remark, nice choice of color . Hope your S2k brings you as much joy as mine has. Oh, and also, I recommend Zaino for the care products. Enjoy!
