After 4+ loooong months I drove my Stook home from storage after work today. Fired right up, and amazingly I had the patience to wait until full (normal) temp was reached before pulling out of the garage. So sweet to sit in that fine Recaro again. I did notice, however, a VERY loud whine coming from somewhere in the drivetrain, but it disappeared once the fluids were properly dispersed. Made me a bit nervous at first. I looked at the odometer, could hardly believe that I only put 4600 miles on last year, 1100 of it on one trip to Baltimore and back. (picked her up in May) I'm gonna have to catch up this summer! Too bad it's supposed to snow this weekend.

Abscense makes the heart grow fonder.........

vmb: sh2k here!

Glad to see you got your S on the road. My wife and I have been driving ours some as well during last week and the first 2 days this week.

Spring is here! Maybe the snow will miss us this weekend.

Do you store your car at some special facility or those storage places???

Have fun driving this year too.

Barry

Are you planning on trying out some autocross with the Akron Sports Car Club? check out http://ascc.cjb.net/ for info. It'd be great to meet up!

sh2k: How the heck did you rack up so few miles last year?? My car is just over 2 weeks old, and I already 2000 miles on it! I just can't resist the urge to drive aimlessly!!

Rasputin314:

You meant to ask this of vmb. I am only at about 500 miles however, just getting started to driving around due to the winter.
