No power steering pump... electric or otherwise...

The EPS is an electric motor inline with the steering rack that provides assisting torque based on a steering torque sensor and other factors via a control unit.

Thanks for the info. Could this be the reason some owners complain about the steering feel (or lack thereof) on the S2000?

While I agree that there are owners why think the S2000 could give better steering feedback, I'm not sure if the eletrical motor assisted steering is to be blamed. I'm not sure if the lack of feel is due to a weak implementaion or an inherent problem with this technical solution. I don't have a problem with the feedback, because I've not yet taken this car to its limit

Is there a website available to get information on the driving class?

the classroom is only a brief session, they don't tell you much there, just tell you what's oversteer, understeer, toe-heel, what's the line, why the line, apex, etc ... just the basic simple stuff ...

and they you got to go on the track and explore the skills. the instructor will ride with you, and even drive for you, to show you where is the line ...

after the school, all i can think of, no matter where i am, even when i am not driving, i can only think about [b]braking zone, turn in, apex, turn out, step on the gas, get ready for the next turn ...

it was fun~

here is the web site: http://www.raceschool.com/

damn, they got to be paying me for doing this~

Will you be driving your own car or do they provide their own cars? If so, what car do they provide?

Stockae92,

I'd went to the link posted above and could not find the course/price you've taken. The cheapest course is "Highway Survival Training" and "One Day Defensive Teenage Driving" for $375 each. Did you get a special discount/package???
