yea this is probably explained in some text somewhere but im a busy guy and i enjoy social interaction (aka lazy). So i don't get it, i sometimes turn on the engine and the top wont go up/down. then i leave it alone for like a few min, sometimes more sometimes less, and then it starts working again like magic. clues ;/

 

I don't know if this is causing your problem, but if the parking brake isn't set, you can't raise or lower your top. Some people forget that.
