Top Down Intercom System?
Did a search and didn't readily find anthing about non-helmet applications but anyway.... Has anyone come up with a driver/passenger intercom system similiar to motorcycles or airplanes? There's a bike system by Autocom which is nice in that you can plug your radio in it as well. The Autocom system headsets are components to place in a helmet. I would either like earbuds or aircraft type headsets. I'm tired at yelling at my passenger at higher speeds. Any ideas?
I like the Nady systems. Used often by instructors on the track.

That's a start. But its still really noisy. In fact its noisy with the top up at speed. My wife and I just noticed during a multi-hour trip that by the end we were yelling at each other. Which we weren't doing for reasons other than overcoming the ambient noise.

I bought a set and really like it. Ads a lot of enjoyment to top down motoring when my wife and I are traveling. Can't remember the brand but I lokked on the internet and then called a motorcycle shop and told them what I wanted. They made a recommendation and that's what i got. They are made to use w/o a helmet and just clips over your ear and have a boom mike. Can run on battery or from your power outlet with an adapter, which is what I got.
