Well it hit a blistering 41 degress in Northern NJ today and I got to put the top down for the second time since I got the car in November

Only problem is the the car was still very cold from the night before and when I hit the switch the top started going down and made a very nasty tearing sound (kinda like velcro being ripped apart) I almost s**t my pants. I put it up and back down again several times during the day and it never made any other odd sounds...I also could not find any damage. Any ideas as to what this awful noise may have been?

Hey I was out yesterday in northern NJ with my top down too, testing the new Hesel aeroscreen. How come I didn't see you? And I picked up my car in November also, hmmm, very coincidental!

FYI, my top makes that sound too after not having been operated for some time (manual says not to use top if temperature is below 32). Think it's just stiff from non-use, but if something were to tear we'd be covered by warranty so I'm not worried.

There is velcro around the rear window on the inside - maybe it was velcro that you heard?

Top Down in Boston Today!!!

If you would like snowflakes the size of my palm covering your interior.

I actually like the fact that Bostonians can't put their top down now because I don't have mine to put down. MwuaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!
