Default Is the top down when you leave the car?

I'm surprised at the number of convertibles, S2ks and others, with the top down while the owner is away (i.e. mall, work, etc).

In this age of identity theft, it really surprises me that people don't always put their top up when they're away from it. I put it up if I'm going to be away from the car. What do you do?

The real question is, "Do you like your seats?"

I usually leave it down if im going to be driving it again right away or if I can see it. But I wouldnt even consider leaving the top down when im away from the car.

Actually last week I saw a porsche parked at walmart with the top down. I was shocked...

once the weather cools down a bit, I'm gonna leave it down 24/7.

Yeah, that's whack. There's a guy on my street with a Porsche Turbo convertible. He's always in his house, and the car is parked on the side road with the top down. I've also see lots of Mustangs or Boxsters with the top down in shopping mall lots.

I leave the top down a lot of the time. As long as the sun wont bake the leather/dash I dont mind.

Of course Irvine is pretty safe.
