Hah great post and video! I thought that guy was wrong when he said z4 had the fastest roof... I was thinking mine is faster than that.

Coming from Clarkson, the compliments are great. He tends to be fussy and complains more than others probably.

 

Within less than half a second and costing 20 g's less... XD

 

Back when the S2000 was released Clarkson actually said that this is his favorite sports car. You should check out some of his other vids.

And yes, Clarkson is know to be HARSH on his cars.

He got slated by Vauxhall/Opel when he called their brand new Vectra a PoS on TV.

 

it looked like it was raining when the s2000 was racing, cuz the windshield wipers were on.
the boxster and z4 didnt have theirs on

 

jeremy clarkson praised the s2000 and the only reason the s2000 lost in the road track was due to the tires. you just can't race with s02's in rain!!!

Yeah, Clarkson is definitely harder to satisfy than the other reviewers I've seen. He even had complaints about the Elise (although it was cuz he didn't know how to kick out the backend, with the car's natural tendency to understeer)... this is why I was even happier to see his praise for the S. Tiff Needle on the other hand didn't like the S nearly as much... ah well.
