Default Top installation

Hi everyone...

I'm new to the forum and also the very proud owner of a brand spankin' new '04 Suzuka Blue S2K (two weeks as of today).

I'm curious about two things:

First, my salesperson mentioned to me that the S2K is hand built. Can anyone here confirm this?

Second, has anyone here replaced their top and if so, is it difficult to do? I'm thinking about getting the blue cloth top.

Thanks for any help.

Matt

1) I believe it is hand assembled. But I may be wrong.

2) I was under the impression that all Suzakas came with a blue top from the factory. Your top may have been already changed. But if anything, DIY instrucions are readily available or you can pay about $1500 or so to have it replaced.

it is hand assembled. meaning that the parts are produced by robots, but then are welded/bolted together by hand.

dunno about the top
