Default Top operation while moving

saw a Bentley gt convertible close its top while moving, is there a way to do that in the S2000, disconnect the handbrake switch thing?, removing a fuse? any tried it?

I would STRONGLY suggest NOT doing this. There's a reason why the manual tells you to NEVER operate the top while the car is in motion. The reason for this is because when the top closes, it will catch the wind and more than likely depending on the speed you are going at damage or even rip the parts out and perhaps even cause harm to you and/or your passenger. As for the Bentley doing it, he must have been going REALLY slow (like under 3mph slow) and no wind. Again I would NOT recommend you do this, or even attempt to do it.

However, if you really must pursue this I imagine you can put your parking brake up 1 click and then while riding it in gear operate the top. Though I still suggest you not do this because it's going to damage your brake.

U can cut the vss wire under the passenger side and then u just click the e brake 1 click and u can roll and put the top down. Search for top down mod.

Speeds of around 5mph is totally fine.

I've done it countless times at speeds of around 25mph and it's been fine so far. I wouldnt feel comfortable going much faster than that though.
at 25mph there isnt that much wind, really. It does deflect a lot down into the cab when the front piece goes vertical though...blows stuff around inside pretty good.

+1

Snip that black and white speed sensor wire and then you are good to go!

Aaron is right, 25mph is fine. Enjoy!

I've noticed that you don't even have to click the ebrake if your hands are steady enough. The light comes on before the first click

2 S2k's, both had the mod. 6 years of use. 30mph max. No problems.
Best mod ever.

Shameonyoudufus, you're a bit misinformed and need to do this. Just don't raise it at speed and you'll be fine.
