Nick's correct a lot of the Japanese Tuning houses use Cusco as there rollbar/rollcage. I am not sure if Top Secret does but it looks the same as the ones Cusco makes.

That rollbar really scares me when used as just a rollbar. With the additional forward brace, I suspect it is better, but it is still not even close to being SCCA, etc approved.
The problem is that the main hoop (and rear diagonals) are way too small a diameter of tubing, and the diagonals are at a terrible angle. in a rollover, that bar is going to collapse backwards much more easily than say, the Elda Engineering bar.
If you are buying the bar for looks, make SURE you pad it adequately, subdural hemotoma is nothing to laugh about and can very quickly kill you (and go undetected in an ER exam). Head trauma is very scary.
The additional front bracing (going from bar to cage) makes it much less likely to collapse backwards, but still doesn't make for a very safe solution.

Let's make something clear, that rollbar is adequate enough that many Japanese tuning houses are running it in competition every week. The SCCA is a governing body that does not sanction rollbars, they provide guidelines. Why? Easy because they don't want to be responsible in case something does happen. Their guidelines are more stringent because they feel they need to be. But to say that it won't work would be just a guess on your part. Hell we've seen rollovers with the stock roll hoops where people have survived with no problems. Does that mean the SCCA is wrong in saying that we need rollbars for competition?
Am I trying to defend my product? You buy at your own risk, same is true with anything. But don't knock something because of regulations that a sue happy country has set because it wants to cover it's ass. It's been used many times in many competitions. Cusco makes rollbars/rollcages for a variety of vehicles in competition around the world. They must know something.
BTW - The Elda Bar is a great bar, Wael did a lot of work in order to get it the way it is. I know Wael and he is a great guy to deal with also. If you plan on competing in Solo I then I say go for it to save yourself the trouble. But for most folks this bar will more the suffice.
