Tried a search and didn't find any topics about this. What's the fastest anyone has gotten their S up to? How stable did it feel? Just wondering. I've never gone faster than 145 and that was in a Ford Taurus SHO. It was a little scary in that car. BTW this was on a flat straightaway in texas, wasn't a car to be seen for miles.

146...and still stable with top up... with the top down...i couldn't go past 143...i never maxed it out yet...

Had the S at 147 and still had at least 2K RPM to go before redline. Still stable, I just had to start slowing down as I was comming up on some traffice and needed the room to slow down to normal fwy speeds.

 

132MPH with wet roads and a slight breeze.... It felt so stable I didnt know I was doing that speed, honest officer

whats the UK record? someone must of beaten me...

 

i did 155 w/ the top down on hw 75

 

260kmh at around 8300rpm, pretty stable. I took an E36 M3 up to 261kmh and it was more stable, tho!
