What is the top speed of the s2000

 

261 KM/H is the best i ever did with it.

 

so it can go faster than that

 

Pretty sure top speed is 150 miles per hour, give and take with the top down or up

 

I thought 167?!?!?!?!

 

People have had the speedometer read into the 160's but that doesn't mean they were going that fast. When you factor in the margin of error of the speedometer it will probably be somewhere in the low 150's.

The truth is, no one knows the top speed of the stock S2K, no one's ever tested it...including the magazines, they all quote the top speed given to them by Honda..150, but it ain't so. The car will go over 150, of that I'm sure, I've had my car to an indicated 161 twice, and there is no way the spedo is off +11 when it's off -1 @ 45, and 70MPH (Radar checked).

6th gear tops out at rev limiter at 169/170mph. That is indicated speed. Actual is probably closer to 160mph+- maybe.

 

What about 'TurboDave' about 2 years ago in ? Canada. Video of him doing 281km/hr (175mph). Used to be on the site - don't know if it is anymore.
