Does anyone know where I can find the top speed for each gear on our car? Today, I downshifted to 2nd at 57mph, and I was just wondering if that is within the 2nd gear range for that speed. Was I over-revved the car? Thanks.

After reading the comments, I don't it was that bad any more , but I want to show you guys the video anyway.

This is when I installed the Megan Resonated Test Pipe and took it out for a spin. I've never revved that high ever since I got it, so I thought this would be the good time to do so Enough said... Enjoy

For an AP2, you are close.

 

you should be fine if that is the exact number.

 

I've seen 58 in 2nd in my AP2 before the rev limiter kicked in, so you should be OK.

 

Some guys with the AP1 ECU in the AP2 spin their F22C that high and are fine. Usually 11k rpm is when things start to go very bad.

57-58 is around 8200 in 2nd gear for an ap2

 

I've accidentally hit 70mph in 2nd while misshifting before. I recently got my retainers checked and everything is A okay. My mechanic followed Billman's posts and pics of what overrevved retainers look like. Mine looked normal. You should still get it checked though.
