well there used to be a gear calculator on turnzero.com, but the site is currently down. Here's the link anyways in case it comes back up soon.

oh, and top speed at fuel cut (8200) rpms on an AP2 is actually 156...

Yeah, that's too bad about the gear calculator. I hope it comes back. It's a very useful tool.

Hopefully he is hitting 150 on the track AND NOT ON THE STREET.

I contacted the owner of the site for turnzero.com and he said that he is just in the middle of changing web hosts at the moment, and that the site will be back up in a day or two...

so hold onto that link, it'll be good again shortly.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but if the conditions are safe (no passenger, zero traffic, dry pavement, etc.) and you don't mind risking (in Calif anyway) being arrested for reckless driving and having your car impounded, or being turned into human carpaccio, why is someone who drives 150 on the "street" a "retard"? Seriously. Fastest I've been in my car is 137. It was on an lonely, empty highway and I was meeting all above criteria. Just wanted to beat my old record of 135 (on same section of highway) I'd set in my old AMG Hammer back in late '80s. OK, back to the subject...
