I believe WisconsinS2k has had his to around 155-160ish. Depending on hills, altitude, wind, etc...all those are major factors at those speeds.

John

ps-only had mine to 125, but it was still pulling.

Uploaded you a movie as proof...

Top speed

Actually thats about 170mph+ so that S is not stock...
That movie seems a bit weird.

174 mph... but don't those tractor trailers seem to be flying by a little too slowly?

I've hit 135 before and the other cars going 60-70 were flying up as fast as guys on a hot girl at Georgia Tech.

Maybe its just the perspective.

I had mine at 233kph and decided that i didn't want to get a ticket at that speed so i slowed down. I think it could have gone more but it would take a bit. It's a slow acceleration at the speed.

Still, 250 Kph is damn impressive.
Countach: was this on a downhill? tailwind? I have done about 242 Kph on mine and it was not a very pleasant experience.
Tyler N: S2Ki has been around a very looong time, so pretty much anything you can think of has already been posted 10 quadzillion times. We all know about the search feature, but if everybody did this, there wouldn't be anything to talk/post about! TougeBomber is a new member ($) and deserves to post more than we guests do.
Saludos Countach!
My point was quite literally, this topic has been beaten to death. There are hundreds of threads about this very topic, more so then the "will there be a 2006 model" which everyone seems to jump in and complain about; why should this be any different because he is a 'member' and paid a whole $20 for a year? If you all know the search feature is there, I don't know, it could be there for a reason? Surely you can find something else to talk about which has not been excessively exhausted such as this.....

The search feature doesn't work all the time. It's not working right now for example so if you don't want to read about this then why would you take part in it??

Hey Tyler. I think there is a huge difference between the 2 topics (the 2006 thing vs top speed)
The reason there are literally hundreds of threads about the top speed issue -I think- is because new members eventually go and do a top speed run, which can be risky and dangerous, nonetheless extremely exciting stuff that people love to chat about, and this is what "S2000 talk" is all about.
It is all good fun, no need to about this.
Cheers
