Whats up guys....

My top has started to squeak when its up and im driving. Bumpy roads make it sound terrible, and when its cold outside, its even worse. IT does not squeak during operation, it just needs to be greased.

Can anyone tell me, or better yet, take a pic or two of WHERE i have to grease the top to shut it up......I know you have to open the top 1/2 way, and blah blah blah.....

Get the Shin-Etsu silicone grease. H&A has it cheaper than Honda. You rub it on the rubber windshield header. That usually stops the squeak. It's great for all the rubber gaskets and seals on the car. If you put your top down part way, you can grease all the places where the rubber parts on the top mechanism come together.
A little of that stuff goes a long way.

 

Same thing happened to me. Drove me nuts! I took it to the Honda dealer and they put on the Shin Etsu for free I think it was a TSB? No more squeaking!
