Default top strikers?

I noticed that whenever I have my top up, and I go over a bump or something, my top makes a sort of like pinging noise from where the top latches are (I think). do I need new strikers or latches? its not a pressing issue and the car doesn't leak or make any excessive wind noise, its just annoying.

You could look at tightening the screws in the latch. That usually accounts for some noise. Perhaps greasing certain areas will work as well. I know mine rattle on occasion, depending on road conditions and air temp (when its cold it's more noticeable). I tightened mine up and added some fabric in certain areas to help deaden the noise.

If you don't have a passenger, your seat may be vibrating against the roll hoop plastics.

checked this, I put the seat up a little more so it is not touching the roll hoops and I still have the noise. im pretty sure its the top latches.

Strikers could be worn enough to make the hook of the latch wobble on bumps. You could try to switch the sides the strikers are on. I have seen something before where people put small thin foam material in the latch housing itself but was more for rattles.
