What's up with everyone here in So Cal today. I just went out to get some lunch and saw almost every single convertible with their top up!!! It's such a gorgeous day today down here. I think there were only 2 convertibles with their tops down.

it is astonishing. i often see porsches, bmws, and benzs with their tops up in s. orange county. i always wonder what the heck? why did these people pay the $ for a convertible and then drive it around in its worst guise.

probably driving automatics anyway. imo, some people just don't get it.

 

Maybe in addition to your power shortages in Cali, you've got a shortage of sunscreen as well.

We definitely had a shortage of sunscreen during the drive last week at the West LA meet. Everyone had racoon eyes and burned faces.

I'm not sure what's up with everyone and their convertibles. The only 2 cars I saw with their tops down were a boxter and a miata. Also, the miata had a female driver, so the whole messing up my hair excuse is pretty weak.

Saw two convertible mustangs and they both had their tops up. Down here in the South Bay, it's really not that hot today. I can understand the guys in AZ having their tops up, but not down here.

I was in NorCal yesterday in San Jose. It was really nice and hot out there. Probably hotter than it gets down here in the south bay.

 

Around here I see lots of Mustang convertibles, usually driven by Young ladies. Rule of thumb: One young lady (driver), top up. More than one young lady on board, top down.

 

Was it women or men driving. Some women don't wanna mess up their hair.
